Job Description

One Community Health (OCH) is seeking a detail-oriented front desk receptionist to join our Welcome Team at the White Salmon, Washington clinic location. This Welcome Team position is responsible for a wide range of clerical and administrative tasks, including patient registration, appointment scheduling, and answering patient phone calls. The schedule for the Welcome Team Receptionist position is Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 3:45 PM at our clinic in White Salmon, WA.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform patient registration, including checking patients in and obtaining demographic and billing/insurance information. Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Receive patient payments and maintain accurate records. Answer and screen telephone calls, delivering messages in a timely manner. Provide excellent customer service.
Minimum Qualifications:
Fluent bilingual in English and Spanish. Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a customer service setting. Effective communication skills and experience with multi-line telephones. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. High school graduate or G.E.D.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of medical terminology. Post high school education in office/clerical coursework. Experience working in the medical industry or a call center environment. Experience working with low-income, multi-ethnic populations.

Hourly/Non-Exempt:
Starting at $23.00-$23.75 per hour, increased depending on experience
Bilingual Differential:
