Teams at this location support the full product lifecycle, from concept and prototype development through qualification, production launch, and continuous process improvement. The Composite Process Engineer will lead the development, validation, and optimization of advanced composite manufacturing processes while serving as the critical bridge between engineering design and efficient production execution. Key Responsibilities Lead composite manufacturing process development from concept through full-rate production, ensuring processes are robust, repeatable, and capable of meeting customer requirements. Develop, evaluate, validate, and continuously improve composite fabrication methods, tooling, fixtures, test equipment, and manufacturing systems. Support new product introduction activities by developing production-ready manufacturing processes, work instructions, tooling packages, and qualification plans. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, process optimization, cycle-time improvement, yield enhancement, and operational efficiency. Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Production, Supply Chain, and external vendors to solve technical challenges and support successful program execution. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline. Minimum of 5 years of experience in composite manufacturing, process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related engineering functions. Strong knowledge of composite materials, composite fabrication methods, tooling design, manufacturing process development, and design for manufacturability principles. Experience supporting aerospace, defense, aviation, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments where quality and traceability are essential.
