Job Description

Overview Badger Hospice, LLC is seeking a dependable and organized Part-Time Receptionist to serve as a welcoming first point of contact for patients, families, visitors, and members of our care team at our Burlington, WI office. This role supports the day-to-day operations of the office by providing professional communication, administrative assistance, and organizational support. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to effectively manage multiple tasks in a professional healthcare office environment. Prior office or administrative experience is a plus, but not required. This is a part-time position with the following required schedule:
Mondays:
8:30AM
  • 2:30
PM Thursdays:
8:30AM
  • 5:00
PM Fridays:
11:00AM
  • 5:00PM Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients, families, visitors, employees, and other guests in a professional and courteous manner.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls and respond to inquiries appropriately. Provide general administrative and clerical support to the office and hospice team. Assist with maintaining organized and accurate files, records, documents, and office materials. Receive, sort, distribute, and prepare mail and other correspondence as needed. Assist with scheduling, coordination, and communication of office activities and appointments as directed. Communicate professionally and effectively with patients, families, healthcare professionals, employees, and outside contacts. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and office area. Protect the privacy and confidentiality of patient, employee, and company information in accordance with applicable policies and regulations. Complete assigned administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner. Support other office and administrative functions as needed to promote efficient daily operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license and reliable, properly insured vehicle required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively. Professional, dependable, and welcoming demeanor. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Prior office, receptionist, administrative, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required. Must be available to work the required schedule: Mondays from 8:30AM
  • 2:30PM, Thursdays from 8:30AM
  • 5:00PM, and Fridays from 11:00AM
  • 5:00PM.
