Job Description

Elk Valley Veterinary Hospital is a full service animal hospital providing high quality comprehensive healthcare services to pets. We are a busy mixed practice that sees both small and large animals. Our Veterinarians offer a wide variety of medical, surgical, and dental services to our patients. We are seeking an individual with excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, strong computer skills, and the ability to multi-task. The individual must be team oriented, highly motivated, take direction well, be able to lift up to 40 pounds, and be available to work evening and weekend shifts. The shift will be from 10:00am to close. This person must value compassionate care and teamwork, and put forth the extra effort needed to achieve the high quality service our clients expect. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to answering telephones, scheduling appointments, customer service, financial transactions, preparing prescription refills, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Veterinary hospital background is a plus.
