Job Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Front Desk Receptionist, where your energy and enthusiasm will make a tangible difference in the experience of every pet and pet parent who walks through our doors. As the first point of contact for our clients, you'll set the tone for every visit, juggling a busy front line with a smile while helping educate pet parents along the way. In this vital role, you'll support our medical team by keeping the front office running smoothly and ensuring every client feels welcomed and informed. We are an independently owned practice (not corporate) that's growing fast, and we're looking to build a capable leadership team to take us to the next level. Duties Greet clients and their pets with warmth and enthusiasm as soon as they walk through the door Answer and manage a multi line phone system, routing calls, scheduling appointments, and answering client questions Educate pet parents on services, preventive care, medications, and hospital policies with patience and positivity Check patients in and out, collect payments, and process invoices accurately Fill medications and prescription refill requests, coordinating with the medical team as needed Maintain and update client and patient records in our practice management software Coordinate with technicians and veterinarians to keep the schedule running smoothly Manage a busy waiting room, keeping clients informed and comfortable during wait times Respond to emails, voicemails, and online inquiries in a timely, friendly manner Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office and lobby area Support the team with other administrative tasks as needed Experience Previous front desk, customer service, or receptionist experience preferred (veterinary or medical setting a plus) Experience with multi line phone systems required Experience with EzyVet software is a plus Genuine love of animals and passion for educating pet parents Outgoing, positive, can do attitude, even when things get busy Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong multitasking skills and ability to stay organized under pressure Growth Opportunities Potential path to Front Desk Lead or Office Manager for the right candidate Mentorship from current leadership on scheduling, team coordination, and client service strategy Opportunity to take on training responsibilities for new front desk hires Room to grow alongside a fast growing, independently owned practice Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to animal health and welfare! Pay:
$15.00 - $19.00 per hour
