Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in reception practices, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary facility. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming environment for pet owners and their beloved animals, as well as supporting our veterinary staff in delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional atmosphere. Schedule appointments, manage the calendar, and confirm upcoming visits. Handle medical collections and process payments efficiently. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date. Assist with animal handling, including restraint and basic care during check ins. Provide information to clients regarding pet care, services offered, and veterinary terminology. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room. Communicate effectively with clients about their pets' health needs and follow-up care instructions. Requirements Previous experience with animals is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with pet owners during sensitive situations. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Join us in providing exceptional care for pets and support for their owners.
