Role:
The Telephone Operator plays a critical role in managing and facilitating effective communication within an organization by handling incoming and outgoing calls with professionalism and efficiency. This position ensures that all calls are directed to the appropriate departments or personnel promptly, contributing to smooth operational workflows and excellent customer service. The operator serves as the first point of contact for clients, partners, and internal staff, representing the organization's image through courteous and clear communication. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate call logs and managing multiple lines simultaneously to support business needs. Ultimately, the Telephone Operator helps maintain seamless communication channels that are vital for organizational success and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in a telephone operator or customer service role. Basic proficiency with telephone systems and office software. Strong verbal communication skills and a professional telephone manner Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with multi-line phone systems and call center software. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools. Bilingual (English/Spanish) Prior experience in an office or administrative support role Monday through Friday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
