Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for assuring the integrity of account/customer information in the Core Processing System. A successful Quality Control Specialist must have excellent attention to detail since they need to identify errors, and they also need to have good communication skills since they need to deliver vital information to branches and various departments. The Quality Control Specialist also supports the Call Center and helps manage call volume.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Review essential documents to ensure accuracy. Daily review of address & phone number changes, dormant account, and stop payment review. A successful candidate can communicate effectively with issues and recommendations of solutions. These duties help manage the overall risk of the bank. The candidate will also support the Deposit Operations department functions and the call center. Other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School Graduate or GED equivalent. Banking experience is preferred. Strong interpersonal relationship skills and the demonstration of effective listening and communication abilities are highly recommended.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, and outside bank personnel. Communicate Orally. Normal daily physical activities include walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to read reports and use a computer.
