KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Communication Specialist:
Respond to incoming calls promptly and direct callers to the appropriate destination; maintain efficient communication within, to, and from the hotel.
Service Champion:
Approach all guest and employee encounters with friendliness and professionalism; maintain a warm and courteous demeanor at all times.
Information Resource:
Provide accurate information about the hotel and surrounding area; be familiar with emergency and VIP procedures.
Privacy Protector:
Maintain guest privacy at all times; handle messages and faxes according to standards.
Operations Support:
Serve as radio dispatcher; record and relay guest requests; maintain daily activity logs and efficient filing systems.
Front Desk Assistant:
Assist with front desk procedures, including bucket checks and other duties as assigned by the Front Desk manager.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a hotel or related field preferred. Ability to convey information and ideas clearly. Strong multitasking skills and initiative. Effective problem-solving abilities and deadline management. Ability to assimilate and adjust complex information to meet specific needs. Proficient in basic arithmetic and financial data.
