OBJECTIVE
The PM PBX Agent serves as the hotel's communication hub during the evening shift, ensuring all incoming and outgoing calls are handled professionally, efficiently, and courteously. This position is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, responding to guest requests, coordinating communication between departments, and maintaining accurate information while creating memorable guest experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer all incoming and internal calls promptly, professionally, and in accordance with brand standards. Provide guests with accurate information regarding hotel services, amenities, dining options, transportation, and local attractions. Transfer calls to the appropriate departments or team members efficiently. Respond to guest requests and coordinate with the appropriate departments to ensure timely resolution. Dispatch guest requests, maintenance calls, housekeeping requests, and emergency notifications as needed. Monitor and respond to emergency situations following hotel safety procedures. Maintain knowledge of hotel occupancy, room status, VIP arrivals, group information, and daily events. Accurately record and relay guest messages. Handle wakeup calls and ensure they are completed accurately and on time. Assist with guest inquiries, complaints, and service recovery by resolving issues or escalating them appropriately. Communicate effectively with Front Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Valet, and Food & Beverage departments. Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel operations. Ensure the PBX area remains clean, organized, and professional. Complete shift reports and communicate important information during shift transitions. Follow all hotel policies, brand standards, and safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous hotel, hospitality, call center, or customer service experience preferred. Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Basic computer proficiency and experience using hotel management systems preferred. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
