This role is also responsible for balancing and processing finished work returned by the DMV.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Balance finished work returned by the DMV. Ensure plates are matched correctly and funds are in the file. Ship out using mailing instructions on internal systems. Create dealer invoices according to company practices, balancing processed work to funds in the file. Issue refunds to dealers for overpayments. Update check amounts in internal systems for new work received. Update check amounts for checks processed by the DMV. Update status and upload completed documents for walk-in states. Answer customer questions by researching accounts. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Basic understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to type 30 words per minute. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Experience with Quickbooks accounting software.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required One year of related experience is required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Compensation:
$20-22/hourly
