Job Summary:
The Title Specialist is responsible for processing and verifying titles for vehicle files and completing day-to-day office tasks. A Title Specialist must have a thorough understanding of national guidelines and local state regulations for vehicle title processing. The specialist must work closely with our clients to provide a "CarBrain experience," providing support and guidance throughout the process.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Identify and analyze vehicle title ownership documents within company and state guidelines. Check titles for errors and provide alternative correction forms to amend errors. Communicate with sellers via call, email, and text daily to handle title issues post and pre-sale. Create lien holder payoff packets as needed. Check for accuracy in system files prior to dispatching vehicle to towing partners. Communicate with clients and towing partners regarding pickup/release delays. Assist clients with scheduling their vehicle pickup. Handle daily incoming and outgoing mail. Other tasks as assigned. Required Language(s) and
Skills/Abilities:
Extremely detailed oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment. Fluent in English and Spanish.
Education and Experience:
Must have a thorough understanding of national guidelines and local state regulations for vehicle titles. High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Vehicle Title Clerk. Customer Service/Sales experience is a plus. Salvage title experience is preferred.
