The Title Processor will manage the pre-closing title process and work closely with our Title Closer and legal team to ensure files are complete, accurate, and ready for closing. This position does not conduct or preside over closings. Responsibilities Open and process title orders. Review contracts, title commitments, taxes, payoffs, and other title requirements. Track and obtain outstanding documents and requirements. Communicate with lenders, attorneys, real estate agents, buyers, sellers, and other parties. Follow up on mortgages, liens, judgments, releases, and other title matters. Monitor transaction deadlines and closing dates. Prepare and organize files for the Title Closer. Work closely with the Title Closer to ensure files are complete and ready for closing. Maintain accurate transaction records and provide professional customer service. Escalate complex title issues to the appropriate Title Officer or attorney.
Qualifications Required:
Title processing or escrow experience. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Dependable, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
Familiarity with title commitments, title searches, payoffs, liens, judgments, and real estate transactions. Experience with Qualia.
