Automotive Tag & Title Clerk

Jim Coleman Automotive is currently looking to hire an additional, experienced Tag & Title Administrator. Tag & Title experience is required. Jim Coleman Automotive is a 3rd generation family-owned dealership. The Coleman family has been selling and servicing cars in the Washington-Metropolitan, Bethesda, Clarksville areas since the 1950s. •Pay is competitive with experienced candidate Job Duties and Responsibilities Process Retail and Wholesale Title work Prepare and submit out of state Title work via Title Service Examine vehicle title for accuracy and conformity to specified requirements Verify acceptance of the title in the state for which it is filed Confirm accurate VIN number, odometer reading, and releases of liens and that titles contain no alterations Resolve titling issues through interaction with customers, dealers, and regulatory agencies Maintain knowledge of current DMV regulations as they relate to vehicle titles and interpret titling regulations in each state for which the vehicles are processed Run outstanding title reports, review, and contact sellers regarding outstanding titles Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements Automotive Motor Vehicle Processing:
