Lincoln Park, NJ Job Details Full-time $24 - $28 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Google Docs Title document review Automotive sales paperwork processing Full Job Description Job Description A Motor Vehicle associate is responsible for processing plates and registrations in state and out of state for all customers who purchase cars, and also responsible for obtaining all the titles for the units that are in stock. Duties may include, but not be limited to the following: Process Motor Vehicle plates and registrations within a 10 day window to avoid late fees and penalties. Obtain and keep inventory of all the trade titles (call banks and credit unions etc) Run and maintain weekly all the Motor Vehicle schedules Maintain a Google Docs list for MV discrepancies and wholesale titles Process a monthly title check for New and used cars Maintain motor vehicle document inventory (temp paper, plates, etc.) Post temp and Trivin fees File documentation inside the deals Report to office manager and controller delayed titles or plates Assist Office Manager and Controller with various other duties as needed Communicate to office manager all the checks sent to the out of state agency Advise sales managers of uncollected out of state sales tax or shortages in MV Fees Follow up with sales managers for documentation that is missing to obtain trade titles. Maintain and follow DMV Schedules. Maintain and follow DMV Refunds. Additional duties as assigned.
