Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part Time, Automotive Title Clerk to join our dynamic team. Duties Process automotive titles accurately and efficiently, including transfers, registrations, and lien releases, in accordance with state transportation regulations. Manage automotive sales paperwork, ensuring all documents are complete, compliant, and properly filed within dealership systems such as CDK or equivalent software. Coordinate with dealerships, customers, and external agencies to facilitate smooth title transfers and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly. Maintain detailed records of all title transactions, inventory control data, and related documentation using Microsoft Office tools and dealership management systems. Support inventory management by tracking vehicle titles and ensuring proper documentation aligns with retail sales and automotive repair activities. Communicate effectively with clients regarding title status updates, required documentation, and regulatory compliance to enhance customer satisfaction. Assist with general administrative tasks such as data entry related to vehicle sales, and managing phone etiquette for client inquiries. Experience Proven experience in automotive title processing or dealership administrative roles is highly preferred. Familiarity with automotive sales paperwork processing and retail math principles is essential for accuracy in calculations and documentation. Strong knowledge of state transportation regulations and legal requirements related to vehicle titles. Experience working with dealership management software such as CDK or similar platforms; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills for client interaction, public speaking opportunities, and team collaboration. Prior experience in automotive repair or dealership environments will be advantageous for understanding the broader context of the role.
