Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Title Officer to support a leading title company in Northern Nevada. This individual will be responsible for reviewing title reports, clearing title requirements, resolving complex curative matters, and facilitating commercial and residential real estate transactions through closing. The ideal candidate has true Title Officer experience and is comfortable investigating title issues involving deeds, trusts, LLCs, easements, access rights, and ownership disputes. This role will work closely with customers, escrow teams, underwriters, and external stakeholders to ensure title is clear and transactions can successfully close. Candidates must be available for onsite training in Northern Nevada for 2-4 weeks, with a strong preference for candidates local to the area. Skills and Requirements 10+ years of title industry experience, including at least 2 years of Title Officer experience Experience reviewing preliminary title reports and clearing complex title and curative matters Strong knowledge of title requirements, vesting, deeds, trusts, LLC operating agreements, easements, access issues, and ownership documentation Experience researching and resolving title defects, including uninsured deeds, chain of title issues, trust transfers, and recording requirements Experience preparing and reviewing recording packages to facilitate closings and transfer of title Understanding of underwriting principles and experience making title-related risk assessments Strong customer service, communication, and investigative skills Experience with SoftPro, DataTrace, SmartView, or similar title software platforms Previous experience working remotely while managing a high-volume title desk
