In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing and reviewing title records, conducting thorough title searches, and ensuring all documentation aligns with legal standards and underwriting guidelines. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth real estate transactions, support legal compliance, and provide exceptional service to clients and internal teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to successful property closings by leveraging your knowledge of real estate law, mapping software, and public records. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive title searches using public records, title records, and mapping software to verify property ownership and identify any encumbrances such as easements or liens Review legal descriptions, easements, and other real estate documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness in accordance with underwriting guidelines Manage title processing tasks including ordering and reviewing title commitments, reports, and related documents for real estate transactions Utilize real estate transaction management software to track progress of titles through various stages of review and approval Perform research on property histories, including previous ownerships, encumbrances, and restrictions affecting title status Collaborate with law offices, escrow officers, and clients to resolve discrepancies or issues identified during the title review process Maintain detailed records of all title searches, reviews, and correspondence in compliance with company policies and legal standards Requirements Proven experience in title processing Strong knowledge of real estate law, legal descriptions, easements, and property rights Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and familiarity with real estate documentation review tools Experience using real estate transaction management software, and Qualia Ability to interpret public records accurately and perform detailed research on property histories Excellent client communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented mindset Attention to detail with the ability to adhere strictly to underwriting guidelines and legal standards Join our team as a Title Processor if you are passionate about ensuring accuracy in real estate transactions while providing outstanding service.
