Position Summary The Title Specialist is a detail-oriented professional responsible for processing title and license transactions, performing periodic title audits, and providing expertise in resolving complex title-related transactions. This role works closely with state agencies, financial institutions, vendors, clients, and internal teams to ensure vehicle titles, liens, and related documentation are processed accurately and within established timelines. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain strategic relationships with jurisdictions, Departments of Motor Vehicles (DMVs), AAMVA, and vendors. Accurately process incoming and outgoing vehicle titles across multiple jurisdictions. Ensure proper lien placements and releases are processed without errors or delays. Investigate and resolve title-related discrepancies, including missing documentation, incorrect lien details, and delayed filings. Partner with state agencies, financial institutions, and suppliers to resolve complex title issues. Adhere to established KPIs for collateral issues. Communicate with clients, drivers, lenders, and internal teams to provide timely title status updates. Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner to support client satisfaction. Update internal systems with accurate title and lien status information within defined timelines. Support the development, review, and continuous improvement of title management procedures. Maintain a positive, productive, quality-focused culture that promotes awareness and transparency around service failures and supports meaningful, sustainable service improvements. Qualifications 5+ years of lender experience required. 5+ years of title and license experience required. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines accurately. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, agencies, and internal teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience working within title, lending, or fleet management systems is preferred.
Compensation Base Salary:
$55,000+ annually, depending on experience
Annual Commission:
