Job Description
Position OverviewSeeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Settlement Processor/Closer to manage transactions from opening through closing in a high-volume, fast-paced title/settlement environment. The role requires strong multitasking, stakeholder coordination, and full file ownership while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional client service.
Minimum Requirements2-3+ years of experience in title, escrow, or settlement processingExperience handling Virginia real estate transactions preferredBasic understanding of mortgage documents and title processesAbility to work independently and in a team environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office and title production softwareVirginia State Notary (required)Title Producer License preferred (not required)Core Skills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple files in a deadline-driven environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong customer service mindsetKnowledge of real estate title and settlement workflowsExperience with Qualia or similar title software preferredStrong document review and problem-solving abilitiesHigh-volume workload management with accuracyParalegal experience is a plusProficient with standard office equipment and systemsKey ResponsibilitiesReview, clear, and manage title commitments; identify underwriting issuesCoordinate with lenders, agents, buyers, sellers, and other partiesOrder title bring-downs, tax certifications, and closing documentsReview conveyancing documents for accuracy and completenessPrepare and track deposits and file disbursementsRespond to client inquiries in a timely, professional mannerPerform curative work to achieve clear-to-close statusConduct and facilitate closing appointmentsMaintain accurate and organized transaction records

Work ConditionsFull-time:
40 hours per week (Monday-Friday)In-office position: Richmond, VALimited travel required for closing appointments (IRS mileage reimbursement provided)Benefits
