Job Description

Crown Auto Group Automotive Title Clerk Summary Crown Auto Group is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Automotive Title Clerk to join our dealership team. The Title Clerk is responsible for vehicle title processing, DMV paperwork, registrations, tags, lien releases, and maintaining accurate vehicle records. This position works closely with the Sales, Finance, and Accounting departments to ensure automotive transactions are processed accurately and on time. Responsibilities Process new and used vehicle titles, registrations, transfers, and tags. Prepare and submit DMV and state title paperwork. Review vehicle purchase and title documents for accuracy and completeness. Process lien releases, duplicate titles, and corrected titles as needed. Track outstanding titles and follow up with lenders, customers, auctions, and other parties. Maintain accurate title, registration, and vehicle records. Assist customers with questions regarding vehicle titles, registration, plates, and tags. Work with dealership departments to resolve title and paperwork issues. Maintain confidentiality of customer and dealership information. Perform other administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous automotive dealership, title clerk, DMV, registration, or administrative experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership software. Knowledge of automotive title and registration requirements is a plus. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Pay:
Up to $45,000.00 per year
