Job Description

Admissions and HR/Payroll Coordinator (dual role) Join Our Team at AdviniaCare Seashore Pointe! As an Admissions and HR/Payroll Coordinator at AdviniaCare Seashore Pointe, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. As the face of our healthcare facility, you will be responsible for welcoming patients, collecting their personal and medical information, and determining whether they will be admitted and where they will go once admitted. You will also complete all necessary paperwork to complete the admissions process. In addition to your admissions duties, you will also work closely with the HR and Payroll department, overseeing enrollments, changes, and terminations, as well as processing all aspects of employee information from initial hire to termination. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines, and implementing corporate directives regarding new changes in processing payroll, health and life insurance, and other programs.
Responsibilities:
Reviews resident referrals to be admitted to the facility Screen residents to ensure the facility can meet the clinical requirements/needs of the prospective patient. Ensure we have equipment necessary for caring for resident in-house prior to admission. Be able to speak with the hospital regarding possible complex admissions. Have bed-management skills (cohorting, finding appropriate roommates etc.) Inputs data from compiled worksheet to computer to generate weekly payroll Discusses and corrects any errors or concerns regarding payroll on a weekly basis Maintains time clock and payroll records as required by law Processes changes that take place in payroll Maintains OSHA logs Familiar with all aspects of employee benefits, including health and insurance benefits Knowledgeable about workmen compensation process and
FMLA/PFML
Requirements:
Minimum two years of related HR/Payroll experience in long-term care preferred High School graduate or equivalent Displays exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with particular attention to confidentiality
