Job Description

Adolescent Counselor (PT) Dublin School, an intentionally small 9-12 co-ed college preparatory boarding and day school located in beautiful, rural southwestern, NH seeks a Part-Time Adolescent Counselor to join our community starting for the 2026-27 school year. We are searching for someone who can join our counseling staff and increase our capacity to support our students as we strive to provide a calm, nurturing environment to help our students succeed through their difficult times.
Duties/Responsibilities :
As a residential boarding school, employees are expected to participate in the larger school community. The successful candidate for this position would be expected to perform duties within the HealthWellness department, support individual students, respond to emergent needs, and engage in school activities (i.e. morning meeting). This is a 2-4 day/week position that follows the school calendar. The schedule will be determined based on need. Maximum of 1,200 hours per school year. Required Skills/Abilities Active Listening Ability to work on a team Excellent organizational skills Comfort relating and talking with people Strong verbal and written communication skills Must enjoy working with adolescents Strong work ethic Ability to maintain confidentiality Expert in mandated reporting laws Positive energy
EducationExperience :
Licensed or license-eligible in the State of New Hampshire. Master's in clinical social work or an advanced degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, or marriage and family therapy preferred. Minimum of five years counseling experience with adolescents preferably in a school setting.
