Adolescent Mental Health Treatment Facility Manager

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee and coordinate the staffing, maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our adolescent group home facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of adolescent residential treatment centers, and expertise in facilities management systems. This role requires a proactive approach to managing complex systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and leading a team of direct care professionals to support operations in an adolescent residential treatment center setting effectively. This role is responsible for ensuring the facility is meeting Title 22 Division 6 Chapter 5 CCLD regulations and requirements. Duties Lead and supervise the direct care staff team, ensuring coverage on all shifts Work as a direct care staff on the floor when staffing is low or milieu is acute requiring additional support Facilitate weekly Community Meeting group along with several other non-clinical groups Ensure timely documentation by care staff in the EMR Interview, hire, onboard and train new staff Meet with LPA for site visits, submit IR's to CCLD within reporting regulations, ensure the facility is meeting CCLD requirements at all times Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs Oversee the operation and troubleshooting any facility issues Handles all vendor relations, including approval of facility invoices Manage projects related to facility upgrades, repairs, or new installations using project management best practices Ensure compliance with safety regulations and helping with compliance under the direction of the program director Coordinates with treatment teams to minimize downtime during maintenance activities Maintain documentation related to maintenance activities, safety inspections, and system upgrades Procurement, ROP, and inventory costing Oversee portions of compliance Changing house air filters, having gutters cleaned, annual brush clearance, etc. Develop a quarterly preventative maintenance plan Manage temperature, dryer, washer, dishwasher logs Maintain the fleet Purchase outing tickets when needed Perform monthly facility checks to identify items needing repair/replacement Oversee and schedule staff, facilitate punch corrections, approve timecards Facilitate employee reviews Work with the program director and HR regarding any employee relation issues Monitor facility performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives Requirements Must have one of the following A-C in addition the requirements thereafter: (A) One year of full-time experience, or its equivalent, working with the client group to be served. Experience shall be verified as having been performed as a paid or volunteer staff person whose duties required direct supervision and care of the client group served. (B) Two years experience as a member of the social work staff in a group home. (C) Completion with a passing grade, from an accredited or approved college or university, of 15 college semester or equivalent quarter units in behavioral science, 9 units of which must be in courses relating to children with behavioral problems which may be the result of abuse, neglect, or emotional trauma. The courses may include, but are not limited to curriculums in Corrections, Psychology, Social Work, or Social Welfare. Proven management experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance environments Supervising experience leading teams of technicians or maintenance staff Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance systems Holds a valid California driver's license Has or is willing to obtain an active CPR certification Serve as project manager for small-scale, short-duration projects Respond to facility fire and disaster situations immediately and assist per emergency plans Coordinate outside service vendors/contractors and maintenance staff to complete projects as assigned/necessary Takes on administrative projects during downtime from facility issues Perform other functions and tasks as assigned This role offers an opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead critical facility operations in a therapeutic environment.
