We are seeking an innovative, energetic, and student-centered educator with a valid 6-12 teaching certification to join our team in a truly unique teaching opportunity. This position is designed for someone excited to help shape cutting-edge programming and bring next-generation learning experiences to students. This opportunity may include teaching and developing courses such as: Virtual Reality Manufacturing and Simulation Design & Create Fabrication Lab Emerging Technologies Advanced Manufacturing & Design Additional exciting new programming currently in development This is not a traditional classroom position. We are looking for a forward-thinking educator who is passionate about hands-on learning, creativity, problem-solving, technology integration, and preparing students for future careers that may not yet exist. QUALIFICATIONS
Hold a valid 6-12 teaching certification (Can be in any field) Science and/or Math preferred Be highly motivated, creative, and collaborative Embrace project-based and experiential learning Be willing to help build and grow innovative programming Inspire students to think differently, create boldly, and solve real-world problems
Experience:
Professional or personal manufacturing or trades experience preferred Previous middle school teaching experience preferred
Education:
BA/BS degree or graduate degree
Required Testing:
None Specified
Continuing Educational Training:
State of Michigan Continuing Education Clock Hour Requirements
Certificate & Licenses:
Valid Michigan teaching credential.
Clearances:
Fingerprint clearance Criminal Background check clearance
