Ice Cream Barn Manager Hours:

Hours will vary according to the needs of The Ice Cream Barn operation. This is a full-time position. Overview The Manager is responsible for the daily operation of The Ice Cream Barn and its employees. This position will instruct barn employees and operate The Ice Cream Barn in a way that is customer orientated and portrays the business in a positive manner. Essential Functions § Interview, hire and manage staff. § Create monthly schedule for Ice Cream Barn employees. § Manage ice cream inventory. § Maintain daily flavors on Ice Cream Board. § Prepare and open ice cream shoppe for daily operations which includes preparing cases. § Prepare deposit, petty cash and/or change orders. § Reconcile the I Pad. § Inventory ice cream in freezer, order stock as needed. § Re-stock supplies and order when getting low. § Train employees on conduct, proper scooping techniques, proper hygiene, operation of cash register, making of ice cream treats and cleaning procedures. § Train employees in greeting guests and being prepared to answer questions. § Maintain cleanliness of the shoppe, bathrooms, upstairs, and all outdoor areas, including the upper deck. § Defrost dipping cabinets as needed. § Keep bathrooms, employee break area and office area cleaned. § Do not allow any personal items upstairs. Everything should be kept in the basement. § Assist in waiting on customers while providing excellent customer service. § Be available for a variety of shifts as needed. § Maintain/Train on procedure in closing ice cream shoppe. § Thorough clean up and organization at end of season.

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
