Job Description
Overview Job Purpose The Advanced Service Technician is responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance, repair, and service of foodservice equipment, fuel systems, and general facility infrastructure across their assigned coverage area. This high-level position is responsible for independently managing a diverse range of complex tasks, including equipment diagnostics, resolution of critical issues, and ensuring operational continuity. The role also supports strategic service delivery through optimized routing, proactive inventory management, and continuous tracking of open work orders, to maximize repair volume, resolution speed, and first-time fix rates. Responsibilities Essential Functions Technical Service & Repair Execute advanced diagnostics and repairs on foodservice equipment, fuel dispensers, facility systems, and general trades as they are assigned. Service Call Management Independently plan and manage assigned service calls across multiple sites to ensure efficient routing and time management. Ensure all assigned work orders are managed, clocked in/out properly, include status and resolution notes, and are closed out promptly. Parts & Vehicle Readiness Maintain appropriate levels of critical spare parts, tools, and supplies to support repair readiness. Maintain a clean, organized, and service-ready vehicle that meets inspection requirements. Performance & Accountability Achieve and exceed performance goals including, but not limited too resolution days, completed repairs, and first-time fix rate. Additional Responsibilities Deliver high-quality customer service and showcase a positive and respectful demeanor during all service interactions while representing the Facilities Department. Uphold all safety and compliance standards while executing all job duties. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development through regular training participation and knowledge sharing. Uphold the mission, core values, and brand standards of the company by ensuring all practices reflect integrity, accountability, and operational excellence. Performs other projects/duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial equipment maintenance, facility repair, or a related field. Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and/or plumbing systems. Strong organizational and time management abilities with a focus on efficiency. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights. Valid driver's licence (or ability to obtain one) Preferred Technical certifications in HVAC, electrical, fuel systems, food equipment maintenance, or related disciplines. Prior experience in multi-site service roles. Demonstrated initiative in ongoing professional development. KPI Achievement - Delivers strong results across resolution days, first-time fix percentage, and overall repair volume. Work Requirements This is a full-time position averaging 40-50 hours per week. Overtime, on-call availability, and occasional overnight travel may be required depending on service demands and emergencies. Pay Range USD $25.00 - USD $32.00 /Hr.Qualifications:
