Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make an impact supporting students and educators as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school environment near Laurel, DE. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Completion of a Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy Active Occupational Therapy license for the state in which services are provided Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to adapt therapy methods to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with occupational therapy needs Create, implement, and document targeted intervention plans and goal progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success across school activities Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements Provide consultation and training to school staff on best practices for supporting students' functional independence This contract role offers experience-based, negotiable compensation along with weekly pay cycles.
