We are deeply committed to helping bring out the best in every outdoor space while placing the highest value on our people, our process, and the results we deliver. landtamers.com Position Summary We are looking for a skilled and safety-driven Arborist / Tree Climber to join our Tree Care Division. In this role, you will work hands-on in climbing, pruning, removals and tree health care combining technical tree work with proactive landscape care. Youll play a key role in protecting tree health, safety and the visual excellence of the landscapes we manage. Key Responsibilities Perform tree pruning, removals and structural maintenance using safe climbing and rigging techniques.
Evaluate tree health:
identify pests, diseases or nutrient issues and recommend appropriate plant health care treatments. Administer plant health care applications such as trunk injections, soil amendments, spray treatments and fertilization. Operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers and other tree-care equipment safely and efficiently. Execute safe rigging, lowering and removal operations in varied settings. When applicable, assist in training or mentoring crew members to uphold our high standards. Work collaboratively with your supervisor, field staff and clients to plan and deliver safe, efficient, high-quality job execution.
Qualifications / Requirements
Minimum of 5 + years of professional arborist or climbing experience. Strong knowledge of proper pruning, rigging and removal techniques. Comfort and familiarity with plant health care practices, including pest/disease diagnosis and treatment options. Experience using power tools and tree-care equipment in the field. Ability to work safely at heights and in all weather conditions.
Physically fit:
able to lift 50 + lbs and perform strenuous outdoor work. Valid drivers license and clean driving record. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Preferred :
ISA Certified Arborist, Certified Tree Worker or Plant Health Care Technician certification.
Preferred :
Experience with pesticide or chemical applications and a license (or ability to obtain one) in Colorado.
