In this dynamic role, you will oversee crew operations, ensure safety standards are met, and deliver exceptional crew management and tree maintenance services. Your leadership will drive team performance on various projects, grounds maintenance, and landscape enhancement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise with team management to create beautiful, sustainable outdoor spaces. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew of technicians and arborists, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality work standards. Perform climbing and pruning of trees using industry-standard techniques while adhering to safety protocols. Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, irrigation management, hardscape installation, and grounds upkeep. Manage equipment operation such as grounds maintenance tools, landscaping machinery, and company vehicles. Coordinate with project managers to plan and execute construction projects involving landscaping or tree care components. Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health; diagnose issues related to pests or disease. Maintain safety procedures during outdoor work activities and ensure team compliance with all safety regulations. Support irrigation system installation, repair, and ongoing management to optimize water efficiency across sites. Supervise crew scheduling, training new team members, and fostering a collaborative team environment focused on leadership development. Experience 5 years minimum climbing experience. 1 Year minimum crew lead experience. Must have a valid DL with a fairly clean record CDL preferred. Leadership skills that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced outdoor environment. Valid certifications in arboriculture or horticulture are preferred; familiarity with company vehicle operation is a plus.
