Overview We are currently seeking experienced Class A/B Certified Tree Fallers for projects in the Montrose, Colorado area. The Tree Faller will be responsible for safely felling, limbing, and bucking trees in a variety of outdoor environments. This position requires operating chainsaws and related equipment, evaluating tree conditions and potential hazards, determining safe fall direction, and working closely with crew members to complete tree removal and clearing projects safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Safely fell, limb, and buck trees. Operate chainsaws and related tree-felling equipment. Evaluate tree conditions, hazards, and appropriate fall direction before cutting. Follow established job-site safety procedures. Work closely with crew members to complete tree removal and clearing projects. Maintain awareness of changing job-site and environmental conditions. Follow supervisor instructions and safety requirements. Qualifications Valid Class A or Class B Tree Faller certification required. Previous professional tree-falling experience preferred. Proficient in chainsaw operation and tree-felling techniques. Strong understanding of job-site safety and hazard assessment. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Reliable transportation. Dependable attendance. Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work on uneven terrain for extended periods. Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to safely operate chainsaws and other equipment. Ability to work at heights when required. Physical stamina and coordination necessary to perform strenuous tree-felling work. We are looking to fill 3 positions as soon as possible .
