Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Bucket Operator/Climber to join our team. Job is mostly bucket work but some times a climb job, In this role, you will be responsible for operating bucket trucks and performing skilled tree climbing and rigging tasks to support tree care, . Your expertise will help ensure the safety and health of trees while maintaining the aesthetics and safety of outdoor environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize arborist rigging techniques, Responsibilities Safely operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts to access high branches for pruning, trimming, or removal. Climb trees using proper arborist rigging techniques to perform precise pruning or removal tasks. Rig and dismantle large branches or trees using ropes, pulleys, and other arborist tools to ensure safe removal. Conduct tree care activities such as pruning, trimming, and planting with attention to horticultural best practices. Assist with land clearing, landscaping, lawn care, and general landscape maintenance projects. Follow strict safety protocols during all operations, including chainsaw use and working at heights Maintain equipment such as chainsaws, rigging gear, and bucket trucks in excellent condition through regular inspections. Experience Proven outdoor work experience with a focus on tree care, landscaping, or horticulture. Demonstrated ability to operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts safely and effectively. Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques, tree removal procedures, and plant pruning care. Familiarity with chainsaw operation and safety protocols related to tree trimming or removal. Growing experience in horticulture or dendrology (the study of trees) is highly desirable. Ability to adhere to safety standards consistently while working at heights or with heavy equipment.
