In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, maintaining, and enhancing the health and safety of trees across various landscapes. Your expertise will help ensure vibrant, healthy environments while adhering to safety standards and environmental best practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, apply advanced arboricultural techniques, and contribute to sustainable landscape management. Duties Perform tree assessments to determine health, structural integrity, and necessary treatments or removals Execute tree pruning, trimming, and planting care to promote growth and safety Operate bucket trucks and other specialized equipment safely for elevated work Conduct rigging operations for precise tree removal or limb disassembly using arborist rigging techniques Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and documenting tree locations and conditions Carry out tree removal projects with attention to safety protocols and environmental considerations Apply horticultural knowledge to support overall landscape health, including lawn care and landscaping tasks Skills Proficiency in GIS mapping software for landscape planning and documentation Experience operating bucket trucks, chainsaws, and other arborist equipment with safety adherence Strong understanding of arborist rigging techniques for complex tree work Knowledge of tree care practices such as pruning, trimming, planting, and removal procedures Familiarity with dendrology (the study of trees) to identify species and assess health status Outdoor work experience in varied weather conditions with a focus on safety and efficiency Background in horticulture, landscaping, or growing experience to support comprehensive landscape management
