We are seeking a skilled and experienced Arborist / Tree Trimmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tree biology, pruning techniques, and tree health care practices. You will be responsible for maintaining the health, safety, and appearance of trees on our clients' properties.Responsibilities:
- Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal services according to industry standards and safety protocols.
- Conduct tree risk assessments and provide recommendations for tree care.
- Diagnose tree diseases, pests, and other health issues, and develop treatment plans.
- Operate and maintain tree care equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Arborist , Climber or Tree Trimmer.
- Certification from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of tree biology, diseases, pests, and treatment methods.
- Proficient in the use of tree care equipment and tools.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
