Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tree Climber and Bucket Truck Operator, where you will play a vital role in maintaining healthy, safe, and beautifully landscaped environments. This energetic position involves climbing trees, operating bucket trucks, and executing precise tree care and removal tasks. You will work outdoors in various weather conditions, utilizing your expertise to ensure safety and quality in every project. Your skills in arborist rigging techniques, tree trimming, and landscape maintenance will help us deliver exceptional service to our clients while advancing your career in horticulture and dendrology. Duties Safely operate bucket trucks to access high branches for pruning, trimming, or removal of trees and limbs Climb trees using proper arborist techniques to perform detailed pruning, plant care, or hazardous limb removal Execute rigging procedures for complex tree removals, ensuring safety for team members and property Conduct tree care assessments, including plant pruning care and tree trimming to promote healthy growth Use chainsaws and other equipment responsibly for cutting, shaping, or removing trees and branches Follow strict safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry standards Qualifications Proven experience in outdoor work environments with a focus on horticulture, landscaping, or arboriculture Strong knowledge of tree care practices including tree removal, pruning techniques, and arborist rigging methods Ability to operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently for elevated work tasks Skilled in the use of chainsaws and other tree maintenance tools with adherence to safety guidelines Knowledge of dendrology (the study of trees) to identify species and assess health conditions Experience with rigging techniques specific to arborist work for safe tree dismantling or limb removal Excellent physical fitness for climbing, lifting heavy equipment, and performing outdoor tasks over extended periods Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and teamwork in outdoor settings Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise enhances urban landscapes while you grow professionally.
