Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Tree Cutter, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes through expert tree removal, pruning, and care. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in various environments, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques to ensure safe and efficient tree management. Your expertise will contribute to the safety, aesthetics, and health of urban and rural landscapes, making a tangible difference in community spaces and private properties alike. Responsibilities Safely operate bucket trucks, chainsaws, and other tree care equipment to perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal tasks Use arborist rigging techniques to safely dismantle large or hazardous trees in confined or challenging spaces Conduct plant pruning care to promote healthy growth and improve landscape appearance Apply tree removal methods with precision, ensuring minimal impact on surrounding areas and structures Follow strict safety protocols during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and injuries Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and planning tree maintenance projects Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, and general horticultural upkeep when needed Experience Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, horticulture, or arboriculture is highly preferred Familiarity with tree care practices including pruning, trimming, and planting techniques Hands-on experience with bucket trucks, rigging equipment, and chainsaws is essential Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques for safe tree dismantling in complex situations Understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation Growing experience in landscape maintenance or landscaping projects is advantageous Basic knowledge of dendrology (the study of trees) and general horticulture principles Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to transforming outdoor spaces with skillful craftsmanship. Pay:
$26.16 - $31.50 per hour
