Overview Join our dynamic team as a Bucket Operator and become a vital part of our outdoor maintenance and tree care operations! In this energetic role, you will utilize specialized equipment to perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal tasks with precision and safety. Your expertise in arborist rigging techniques, landscape maintenance, and plant care will help enhance the health and beauty of urban and natural landscapes. Responsibilities Operate bucket trucks safely to access high branches for pruning, trimming, or removal of trees and shrubs. Use rigging techniques to carefully dismantle or prune trees, ensuring safety for team members and the environment. Conduct tree removal procedures with chainsaws and other tools, following strict safety protocols. Perform plant pruning care, tree trimming, and landscape maintenance to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Assist with GIS (Geographic Information System) mapping and data collection related to land and tree inventories. Support lawn care, landscaping, and growing projects by applying horticultural principles and plant care techniques. Adhere to all safety guidelines during outdoor work activities, including proper use of equipment such as bucket trucks and chainsaws. Qualifications Proven experience operating bucket trucks or similar aerial lifting equipment in outdoor settings. Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques, tree removal methods, and tree care practices. Familiarity with GIS technology, landscape maintenance, and horticulture principles. Ability to use chainsaws safely and effectively for pruning or removal tasks. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation. Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or dendrology (the study of trees) is highly desirable. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; ability to lift heavy tools or materials as needed.
