Responsibilities Safely operate bucket trucks, chainsaws, and rigging equipment to perform tree removal, pruning, and trimming tasks with precision. Use arborist rigging techniques to dismantle large or hazardous trees efficiently while minimizing impact on surrounding areas. Conduct plant pruning care and tree trimming to promote healthy growth and improve tree structure. Apply tree care best practices based on horticulture principles, dendrology knowledge (study of trees), and landscape maintenance standards. Execute land clearing activities including tree removal and stump grinding in accordance with safety protocols. Follow strict safety procedures during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including equipment usage, safety checks, and project progress. Experience Proven experience in outdoor landscaping, horticulture, or arboriculture with a focus on tree care and landscape maintenance. Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks, chainsaws, and rigging gear for tree work projects. Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques for safe dismantling of large trees. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments involving heavy equipment. Growing experience in lawn care, landscape design, or gardening is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards. Must have a valid drivers license and able to drive a truck while pulling a trailer of equipment.
