Job Description
Overview Arbor Works is currently hiring a Foreman to assist in our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the health, safety, and beauty of trees and landscapes. This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a variety of environments, utilizing your expertise in tree care, trimming, and maintenance. You will be responsible for executing precise tree pruning, rigging, and removal techniques while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. Responsibilities Lead and supervise tree crews safely and efficiently. Proficient in chainsaw use, aerial lifts (bucket truck), ropes, and rigging. Enforce safety rules and proper equipment use. Oversee jobs and manage crew assignments. Inspect work for quality and ensure customer satisfaction. Excellent customer service is the key to winning more work. Train and mentor crew members. Communicate progress and issues with management and clients. Qualifications Proven experience in tree care, pruning, or landscaping with a focus on horticulture principles Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks, bucket lifts, and rigging equipment Ensure crew arrives and departs on time; drive bucket truck to job site. Meet with property owners to ensure we offer the best possible customer service Set up job sites efficiently Direct tree removal safely; ensure crew chip branches and pile logs for removal. Ensure the yard is perfectly clean when the trees are removed. This is imperative to getting good reviews and repeat customers. Complete jobs on time, on budget, collect payments, and report to the sales manager.
