Job Description

Job Overview Urban Forestry LLC is looking for a skilled and dedicated Tree Climber and foreman to join our team! If you're passionate about tree care and enjoy working outdoors, this is the perfect opportunity for you. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting the daily work schedule and meeting with customers daily. Tree climbers are expected to perform trimming, pruning, and other essential maintenance tasks, all while helping to maintain the health and aesthetics of trees in urban landscapes. Safety is a top priority, and you'll be expected to work efficiently and responsibly at heights. We prioritize a "know before you go" attitude, meaning conservative decision making will be respected. Responsibilities Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain tree health and appearance. Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely for tree care. Complete and perform work to specifications as well as consult customers on site with instructions and guidance Implement proper rigging techniques to safely lower branches and debris. Collaborate with team members to execute tasks effectively. Identify hazards and mitigate danger on site throughout the workday. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Qualifications Proven experience in tree care is required. advanced knowledge of specific tree trimming techniques and safety protocols is essential. Experience operating bucket trucks or similar equipment is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong physical stamina, with the ability to lift heavy loads and climb trees safely. A valid driver's license is required for transportation to job sites.
