KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute pruning and tree work on client properties across the Kansas City metro, including tree pruning and removal, shrub pruning, mulch installation, and stump grinding Take initiative and ownership of daily routes, equipment, and quality of work Collaborate effectively within a team environment while also working independently with efficiency Operate small-engine equipment safely and proficiently, including chainsaws, shears, and string trimmers Communicate professionally with clients regarding service expectations, processes, and timelines Adhere to all safety protocols while working aloft and on the ground
Requirements:
A background in forestry or a related field is a plus. That said, if you bring a genuine willingness to learn—both on the job and independently, our structured training program will equip you with the skills to succeed. All candidates must meet the following requirements: High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Production Arborist or in comparable tree care/climbing role Strong physical capability, including the ability to lift 50 lbs. and walk 3+ miles per day Comfort and respect for working at heights; ability to climb and work aloft Ability to push and pull objects over extended distances Ability to work effectively in all weather conditions A self-starter mindset and commitment to team collaboration and workplace safety Valid driver's license required Ability to obtain DOT certification and pass a background check and drug screening Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Kansas City metro area •
