Arborist Crew Leader — Joshua Tree Experts (North Charlotte) Lead a climbing crew delivering precision pruning, technical rigging, safe removals, and plant health care for residential and commercial clients. This is a climbing role; crane experience is a plus for complex removals. What you'll do

• Run the crew: plan the day, brief the team, and keep the site safe and efficient.
• Train and mentor crew members; lead skills coaching, safety huddles, and on-the-job development.
• Climb using modern DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS systems; design rigging plans and execute challenging picks.
• Assess tree health and structure; set pruning cuts and removal strategies; communicate clearly with clients.
• Handle documentation, traffic control, and storm response as needed.
• Attend company training and access free, industry-related education and certifications. What you bring
• 3+ years of professional tree care with strong climbing and rigging proficiency.
• Proven leadership and clear communication; calm, safety-first judgment.
• Valid driver's license (CDL helpful); physically fit for demanding outdoor work.
• Knowledge of tree biology, species ID, and structural assessment. Bonus
• ISA Certified Arborist, CTSP, First Aid/CPR, and crane-assisted removal experience. Why join
