Class A or Class B Required Work With Brand-New Semi-Trucks We are hiring a dependable CDL A or B Yard Jockey / Truck Assembly Technician to join our Mount Holly operation. This is a hands-on position combining yard truck movement with mechanical assembly and preparation of brand-new semi-trucks for transport . You will help move and position trucks throughout the facility, support drivers and yard operations, and assist with the assembly and preparation of new commercial trucks. If you have a Class A or Class B CDL , enjoy working around trucks, and are comfortable using hand and power tools, this could be a great long-term opportunity. What You'll Do Move and reposition brand-new semi-trucks throughout the yard and facility Stage trucks for assembly, decking, loading, and delivery Move trucks into and out of shop and work areas Assist drivers with locating and positioning trucks Assemble and prepare new semi-trucks for transport Install and secure truck components using hand and power tools Help connect trucks together for transport, also known as decking or piggybacking Inspect trucks and completed work before transport Identify and assist with basic mechanical or assembly issues Help maintain an organized and efficient truck yard Work both inside the shop and outdoors Follow all company and DOT safety procedures Maintain a clean and safe work environment What We're Looking For Valid Class A or Class B CDL required Current and valid driver's license Comfortable operating and moving commercial trucks Good driving record Comfortable using hand and power tools Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Able to lift up to 75-80 pounds Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Able to work Monday through Saturday Able to work overtime as needed Helpful Experience Previous experience in any of these areas is helpful: Yard jockey / yard spotter CDL yard driver Local CDL driving Truck or trailer operations Automotive or diesel repair Mechanical assembly Truck decking or piggybacking Manufacturing or production Heavy equipment Construction or skilled trades General maintenance You do not need to be a diesel mechanic. We are looking for someone with a CDL who is comfortable around commercial trucks, mechanically inclined, dependable, and willing to learn.
