Tree Climber / Arborist TRIA Real Estate Solutions Lincoln, NE Job Details Temporary | Full-time | Contract $25 - $38 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Retirement plan Qualifications Outdoor work experience Trimming (gardening technique) Chainsaw Moving Tree cutting Bucket operation Tree pruning Certified Arborist Bucket truck Full Job Description Position Summary We are looking for an experienced Tree Climber / Arborist to assist with residential and commercial tree trimming, pruning, removals, and related tree-care projects. This is a temporary, project-based 1099 contractor position with competitive hourly compensation. The ideal candidate is an experienced, safety-conscious tree climber who can work independently and as part of a small crew. Responsibilities Safely climb trees using appropriate climbing equipment and techniques Perform tree trimming and pruning using proper arboricultural practices Perform tree removals, including technical removals when qualified Safely operate chainsaws and other tree-care equipment Perform rigging and controlled lowering of branches and sections of trees Assist with storm-damaged and hazardous tree work Operate or work around chippers, stump grinders, loaders, aerial lifts, and other equipment Use bucket trucks/aerial lifts when qualified Help with brush removal, cleanup, hauling, and job-site organization Maintain and properly use personal climbing gear and tools Follow all applicable safety procedures and manufacturer recommendations Maintain a clean and safe work area Work professionally and respectfully around customers and their property
