Responsibilities Perform tree pruning, trimming, and planting care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Conduct tree removal operations safely using chainsaws, rigging techniques, and bucket trucks Operate bucket trucks efficiently for elevated work on trees and landscape features Apply arborist rigging techniques for safe climbing, pruning, and removal of hazardous or dead branches Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and managing tree inventories and landscape plans Execute land clearing, lawn care, landscaping, and general horticulture tasks to maintain outdoor spaces Follow strict safety protocols during all operations to ensure personal safety and that of team members Skills Proficiency in tree care practices including pruning, trimming, planting, and removal Experience operating bucket trucks and chainsaws with a focus on safety protocol adherence Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques for complex tree work at height Familiarity with GIS technology for landscape mapping and asset management Strong outdoor work experience with a focus on horticulture, dendrology (study of trees), and growing techniques Ability to perform plant pruning care with precision to promote healthy growth Basic lawn care and landscaping skills to support comprehensive outdoor maintenance efforts
