In this role, you will be responsible for operating bucket trucks and other equipment to perform tree care, pruning, trimming, and removal activities. Your expertise will help maintain healthy landscapes, ensure safety standards are met, and support the overall aesthetic and ecological health of our clients' outdoor spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop specialized skills in arborist rigging techniques, and contribute to sustainable landscape management. Responsibilities Safely operate bucket trucks and aerial lift equipment to access trees and high structures for pruning, trimming, or removal. Perform tree care tasks including pruning, planting, and removal using proper arborist rigging techniques. Conduct rigging operations for tree removal or limb disassembly, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. Use chainsaws and other power tools responsibly for cutting and trimming branches or trees. Apply horticultural knowledge to assess plant health, perform plant pruning care, and support landscape maintenance projects. Follow all safety procedures and protocols during outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, and general site cleanup when needed. Skills Experience operating bucket trucks or aerial lifts in outdoor environments. Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for mapping or planning purposes is a plus. Strong understanding of arborist rigging techniques, tree removal practices, and tree care principles. Skilled in using chainsaws safely and effectively for various cutting tasks. Familiarity with landscaping, horticulture, dendrology (study of trees), and growing practices. Ability to adhere to safety protocols rigorously while working at heights or with heavy equipment. Outdoor work experience demonstrating resilience in various weather conditions is highly desirable.
