Job Description

Pross Construction Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Tree Foreman to lead vegetation management and tree-clearing operations in support of utility infrastructure projects. The Tree Foreman is responsible for supervising crews, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating daily work activities, maintaining equipment, and delivering quality service to utility and municipal customers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supervise and direct tree crew personnel, including Bucket Operators/Climbers and Ground Hands. Plan and coordinate daily vegetation management activities. Conduct job site safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA, company, and customer safety requirements. Inspect work areas for hazards and implement appropriate safety controls. Operate and oversee the use of chainsaws, chippers, bucket trucks, and other tree-care equipment. Ensure proper pruning, trimming, removal, and disposal of trees and vegetation. Monitor crew productivity and quality of work. Communicate daily progress, material needs, and project updates to management. Complete required paperwork, timesheets, inspections, and safety documentation. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections. Assist with storm restoration and emergency response efforts as needed. Maintain positive relationships with customers, property owners, and utility representatives. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of tree trimming or vegetation management experience. Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred. Knowledge of proper tree trimming and removal techniques around utility lines. Ability to read and understand work orders, maps, and job plans. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work. Certifications & Requirements Valid driver's license required. CDL preferred but not required. First Aid/CPR certification preferred. Knowledge of OSHA and utility vegetation management safety standards. Must live in
