Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Farm Hand/Laborer to join our dynamic agricultural team. In this hands-on role, you will be vital in supporting daily farm operations, ensuring the health and safety of livestock, maintaining equipment, and assisting with crop and pasture management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, applying your farming expertise and mechanical skills to contribute to the success of our farm. Responsibilities Assist with animal husbandry tasks including feeding, watering, grooming, and health monitoring of livestock such as cattle, horses, or other farm animals Operate heavy machinery such as tractors, forklifts, and other farm equipment safely and efficiently Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of farm machinery and tools using welding, power tools, hand tools, and basic mechanical knowledge Support crop production activities including irrigation setup, planting, harvesting, and greenhouse or horticultural work Handle manual labor tasks such as heavy lifting, fencing repairs, equipment setup, and general farm maintenance Ensure compliance with safety standards in all production activities and promote a safe working environment for all team members Assist with livestock management including handling animals safely and practicing animal husbandry best practices Qualifications Proven experience in farming or agricultural environments with hands-on knowledge of farm machinery and equipment repair Demonstrated supervisory experience or ability to lead small teams when necessary Proficiency in operating agricultural tractors, forklifts, heavy equipment, power tools, and hand tools Strong animal care skills with experience in livestock handling and animal husbandry practices Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of equipment maintenance, repair techniques including welding and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) tasks Outdoor work experience in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for manual handling and heavy lifting Commitment to safety standards in agriculture production environments Join us if you're eager to grow your farming career while contributing to a vibrant agricultural operation. Pay:
$12.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
