Full-time Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
About Us:
Todd Acres Gardens is dedicated to sustainable gardening practices and producing high-quality produce. We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team and contribute to our success.
Responsibilities:
Plant, cultivate, and harvest organic crops. Monitor crop health and address issues like pests and diseases. Maintain garden equipment and infrastructure. Implement irrigation, fertilization, and pest control measures. Plan and execute the harvesting schedule. Train and supervise seasonal workers during harvest. Maintain accurate records of gardening activities and crop yields. Promote and implement sustainable gardening practices. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in agriculture or a related field preferred. Previous experience in gardening, berry cultivation is a plus. Knowledge of crop management and sustainable gardening practices. Ability to operate and maintain gardening machinery. Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Benefits and Compensation:
