Job Summary Join our dynamic farm team as a Farm Hand, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the health, safety, and productivity of our livestock. Duties Assist with animal husbandry tasks including feeding, watering, grooming, and health monitoring of livestock and farm animals such as hogs, cattle, and sheep. Operate heavy machinery such as tractors, hay equipment, and other farm equipment safely and efficiently for harvesting, and transportation Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on farm machinery and equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge Handle manual labor tasks including heavy lifting, fencing repairs, haying, feeding and general farm cleanup Follow strict safety protocols during all activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry standards Skills Proven experience in farm and ranch hand Ability to operate farm machinery such as agricultural tractors, power tools, and haycutting equipment safely Mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and maintenance including welding skills and troubleshooting heavy machinery issues is a plus but not necessary Hands-on experience with livestock handling including livestock management practices and animal husbandry techniques Knowledge of safety standards in production environments to promote a safe working atmosphere for all team members Outdoor work experience with manual handling skills required for physically demanding tasks like heavy lifting and equipment operation This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow your expertise in agriculture while contributing meaningfully to sustainable farming practices.
